About Jukado Ryu

Jukado Ryu was formed as a club in 1995 and now boasts continuous participation with both junior and senior members alike.

Jukado Ryu is based around a combination of three martial arts, Jujitsu, Karate and Aikido.

The progressive nature of Jukado Ryu makes it possible to apply techniques with control. The Jakudo Ryu syllabus includes striking and kicking techniques, locks, throws, and grappling, making Jukado Ryu an effective martial art.

Instructor

The past 21 years has provided high quality tuition to both men and women, young and old, from complete beginners to experienced martial artists.

The chief instructor is Sensei Craig Bailey (6th Dan). Craig started practising Aki-Jujitsu in 1984 and is a qualified adult and further education instructor and self defence trainer.

Special Events

The club strives to provide many social occasions for members and their families.

Demonstrations are held by the club once a year as a presentation night and fund raising event. The night generally begins with a demonstration by students and follows a presentation with trophies, awards and grading of belts which have been received throughout the year.
